This wine is obtained thanks to a careful selection of grapes in the vineyards of Masseria nel Sole. The low yields in the vineyards give the wine a great predispotion aging in oak barrels and barriques.
After a period of about 15 to 20 days maceration on its skins, the wine obtained is poured into wooden containers where, for a period of about 10 to 12 months, is refined enriched with tertiary aromas (spices, coffee and vanilla) ranging adding complexity to its already outstanding qualities smell.
After bottling, “Canto alla Luna” continues its aging for another 4-6 mouths.
Ruby red, with aging is enhanced by garnet, with good complex nose, soft, elegant structured with a tannic note.
“Canto alla Luna” should be served at a temperature of 18° to 20° C. It goes well with first courses, grilled meat and roasts.
